Get to Know Us
Our therapy practice, The Journey Center, is a heartfelt journey that began with a shared passion between a mother and daughter—a passion for helping others. As a mother-daughter team, one a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and the other a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), we have always been driven to support those around us through life's challenges. Over the years, we have leaned on one another, growing both personally and professionally, and bringing our combined strengths to our work with clients.
We understand that life can be filled with twists and turns, and no one should have to navigate those moments alone. Our practice is built on empathy, understanding, and the belief that healing is a collaborative process. While we each bring our own unique approach to therapy, our shared commitment remains the same—to help individuals achieve their full potential and discover their inner resilience.
Together, we strive to show that healing is possible, and that with the right support, no challenge is too great. We are proud to continue this journey, using our combined experience, skills, and compassion to make a difference—one individual at a time.

I enjoy supporting others in discovering their passion in life. Empowering individuals to remove obstacles that are hindering them from being the best version of themselves and from fully living life as they desire is fulfilling.
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have accumulated over ten years of clinical experience in the mental health field. Throughout my training and professional experience, I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults. In most recent years, I have received specialized training while working with couples. Anxiety disorders, depression, family conflict, trauma histories, life transitions and relationship issues are some of the many concerns I have treated while working with various populations.
My counseling style is a person-centered approach combined with cognitive behavioral, narrative, motivational interviewing, solution-based focus, and mindfulness therapy. As a therapist, I always strive to ensure clients feel comfortable communicating and expressing themselves without feeling judged. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to guide and support individuals in finding the sense of happiness and peace they were meant to have. I offer a safe place to share your story. In addition to therapy services, I also provide substance abuse counseling for individuals who meet the criteria for individual outpatient therapy.
